A long-time resident of Phoenix, AZ, Karla brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to providing exceptional dermatologic care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University.

 

Karla’s passion for dermatology began early in her career when she volunteered at a nonprofit clinic in Tucson, working alongside an experienced dermatologist and serving the underserved community. This invaluable experience shaped her clinical expertise and fueled her dedication to skin health. During her graduate studies, Karla further specialized in clinical and procedural dermatology, honing her skills in both medical and aesthetic treatments.

 

At Skin Science, Karla is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care, working closely with each individual to ensure that their treatment aligns with both their needs and their lifestyle. Her commitment to skin cancer prevention, combined with her expertise in aesthetic treatments, allows her to offer comprehensive care for a wide range of dermatologic concerns.

 

Outside of the clinic, Karla enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and their beloved dog, Arnie.
